52/52
"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."
Stella: She's always cooking up something.
Hugo: He's ripping up something. Notably, paper. His sister's paper. And that is HILARIOUS, apparently.
We're here! The end of another 52! I'm proud of myself for making it. But I wish I were finishing this project with more of a bang. I feel like these pictures are quite meh.
I often find that my own personal photography is pretty inconsistent. When I shoot other people, I am all in, focused and locked into the moment. When I shoot my kids, I'm thinking about the image, yes, but also about dinner, and what the one who's off camera is doing, and has that baby escaped out of our apartment again? And I just need to get one or two pictures so I can be "done" for the day.
I'm hoping to work on that next year. I'll keep up with the 52 project, but try to bring some more intentionality to it. As for my other photo projects, I haven't yet settled on what form they will take. I'll think about it a bit more.
Linking up with Jodi and Living Arrows.
