Notice something different?

I decided it was time for a bit of a blog refresh. I got in touch with Amanda to help me with this project. Amanda is a fellow traveler who runs The Suitcase Designs. I think she did a fantastic job. She designed a header for this site, and one for my facebook page. She's also working on a design for my soon to launch photography website. Can I tell you I'm pretty stoked about that?

Amanda did a great job. She was easy to work with, super fast, and her rates are totally reasonable. Two thumbs up!

So! New header, a blog refresh, and upcoming new website.

Speaking of photography, I've been busy doing a few little shoots for families. It's going really well. Each time I've wrapped up a shoot, I walk away with the biggest high. I love when the light falls just right; or a smile creeps across a baby's face; or two people in love look at eachother just so; and I snap my shutter finger just at the right moment. It's a real joy.

Without wanting to sound trite, taking pictures, making images, well, this just feels right. You know? I feel good, and solid, and capable in doing this, in a way that I've not felt in other professional endeavours. 

Work is slowly trickling in, and I'm so glad. I have some availability between now and Christmas. If you're interested in working with a family photographer in Jakarta, send me a message. I'd love to work together!
