"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015."
Stella: Her godfather was visiting from Switzerland. Her brought her a new babydoll, which she has named 街头街头, or Lulu after the Chinese name that she chose for herself, which, if I understand correctly, means Street Street.
Hugo: Whenever he offers up a kiss, he stops midway through touches your face and says NOOOOOOOSE! It's basically the most delightful thing.
Wow. Fairly medium portraits this week. Also tardy posting. I think I'm officially in a post-holiday slump where life feels just a little more difficult, patience is a little more rare, and motivation is hidden somewhere underground. Plus a virus that I thought I had chased away using that time honoured method of pickling via alcohol (see also: a random Wednesday after work drink that dragged on into the wee morning hours (aka I stayed out untill 11 pm, which, I know, I'm a total rockstar) seems to have come back with a vengeance. And pink eye. Anyway, when my photographs are an messy afterthought, I know that my state of mind is sort of messy. I guess it's a good indication to myself to bring a bit more calm into my world.
So this week will be one of self-care, chicken soup, and possibly furniture rearranging. Because nothing clears out bad energy and tenacious viruses like a little redecorating? Question mark?
(Oh man, this post is a mess. I think I'm going to quit now. Okay bye.)
