Afternoon After Rain

Now that Hugo's big enough to walk around everywhere, he's determined to be one of the big kids. One afternoon this week, Stella and the neighbour kids got together to ride their scooters outside. Of course Hugo wanted to come along. Of course he wanted to ride the scooter too. And he does. He feels quite proud of himself, pushing it along just like the big kids. But, he's not quite able yet to claim his territory and prevent his ride from being stolen out from under him.

Thought the way things are going, the big kids better watch out. It won't be long before he's able to hold his own.
