"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015."
Stella: She found an old point and shoot camera of ours, and has been really interested in taking pictures and directing photoshoots.
Hugo: Is cutting another molar, and new front tooth, and is kind of manically vacillating between massive tears and lots of clinging / super energetic, too cheeky for his own good.
We got back from Jogja last week, and then not even six days later, packed up our suitcases and headed out for a short staycation. Our building was undergoing "maintenance" (and if you've been reading this blog for the last six weeks or so, you know what that is code for), and so we had to vacate the premises while this 'maintenance' business took place. Anyway, so we got a little complimentary stay in a super amazing luxury hotel, and how bad is that? Right? Anyway, the kids had a great time, jumping on big hotel beds and admiring a bathroom that is literally bigger than our kitchen (and a shower that is, not joking, 6 times bigger than my closet), and I got to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, and meals that I didn't even have to feel bad about not cooking. ;)
So, hooray. And while, the whole thing was super fun, I do kind of hate packing. I'm like such a basket case about putting three outfits into a suitcase. Because the stress of having to remember all the things is just really too much for my delicate little flower of a constitution. And also, my elder child is perhaps a very similar apple, because it has been proven that she's juuuust as bonkers and sleepless prior to a trip to the next building over as she is before an international flight. So. Yeah. Anyway. Happy Sunday.
