Stella: Loves doing her Chinese homework. Hates doing her English spelling words.

Hugo: Has a new sentence: More Yummy! which is often said as soon as he finishes a slice of watermelon or, like this morning (and this so terrible, i know!) a pat of butter. 

This was our first full week returned to a somewhat normal rhythm. And it feels good to be back! I got to do a few shoots, I scheduled some meetings, I went to the gym (once, let's not go overboard) and checked a bunch of things off my to do list. I even made dinner TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW, which if you know me, is like basically a miracle. 

Stella seems to be settling into her big kid school. She's reported making a friend, and that's good news. Hugo is getting very ingenious at climbing, and has proven that he can turn on the stove, so, yeah. That's a new item in my arsenal of things to worry about. This boy, his mission in life is to give my as many heart attacks as he possibly can.
