Stella: Things are rough for her at school. She's having a tough time adapting to a new set of social rules and new ways of interacting with her peers. We're having to face mean girl issues long before we even dreamed that we'd have to think about these sorts of things. Still, at home with her brother, she's nothing but sweetness and love. (I mean, to him. To me, it's a whole other story.)

Hugo: Also sweet this week. He's going through a kissing phase. He kisses his cars, his horses, his sister, his various and sundry "aunties". His cars and horsies also sometimes kiss each other. He always insists on offering good night kisses to whoever is available, but most importantly he MUST kiss Ya-ya before he goes to sleep.
