"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015"
Stella: She's coming home from school totally wiped out. I'm trying to encourage as much unstructured outdoor play as possible as a means of helping her decompress from all that learning. But, when left to her own devices, she invents games usually set in the classroom where she instructs her pupils in the art of writing Chinese characters.
Hugo: Started swimming lessons this week and I can happily report that he's a natural in the water. He's taught himself to blow bubbles and to put his face under water. He's learning to kick his legs, and to glide underwater. He also jumps into the pool with confidence and glee, which is, I must admit, fairly terrifying.
